Our BlueBird satellites deliver 4G and 5G broadband directly to standard smartphones, allowing video calls, web browsing, and app usage from almost anywhere on Earth.
We have partnered with over 50 mobile network operators, integrating with their existing ground infrastructure to serve their nearly 3 billion subscribers. Our service helps fill connectivity gaps for 5.8 billion mobile users who lose coverage, the 3.4 billion people currently without cellular broadband, and the 87% of Earth’s surface not covered by traditional mobile networks.
The network supports both commercial and government uses.
The potential market size is $1 trillion. We hold over 3,800 patents and pending claims. Our key partnerships include over 50 MNOs. Major achievements include the first voice call (April 2023), first video call (June 2023), first 5G call (September 2023), and initial public safety tests on FirstNet® (January 2024).
