Founded in 2020, we operate professional women’s sports leagues in softball, volleyball, and basketball across the United States. We run AU Pro Basketball, AU Pro Volleyball, and the Athletes Unlimited Softball League (AUSL).

Our “Athlete First” principle means athletes have a voice in league governance and participate in a profit-sharing program. We also support athlete well-being with professional development programs covering leadership, financial literacy, nutrition, and mental health.

We innovate in ownership and governance by including athlete representatives on our Board of Directors. Our investors cap profits and reinvest them into the company. We also encourage civic engagement by supporting causes athletes care about, developing their leadership skills, and partnering with community organizations. For fans, we focus on telling compelling stories and making content accessible to remove barriers to professional sports.

Athletes Unlimited employs nearly 100 full-time individuals, having grown by 70% since 2024. The team is 73% women, and women hold 70% of leadership roles.

The company operates largely remotely across the country. We prioritize open and consistent virtual communication to maintain strong team relationships and ensure everyone is aligned on goals. During league seasons, the team gathers in-person for games, community events, and fan engagement initiatives.
