Your Impact

The Business Development - Customer Relations Director plays a pivotal role in supporting Axon’s international growth. Working closely with Public Safety Customers and the Axon Sales team, this role is responsible for managing and advancing strategic sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring seamless execution across quoting, communications, and internal processes.

You will act as a key connector between the customers, internal stakeholders, and the broader European team to drive revenue, enhance customer experience, and grow Axon’s market share in Europe.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute strategic engagement plans targeting key senior officials and leaders within international police services across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia.
  • Build and nurture influential relationships with key decision-makers to promote Axon’s value propositions, ecosystem integrations, and cloud services.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product Development, and Legal, to ensure alignment and support for engagement initiatives.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior officials, providing insights and guidance on leveraging Axon’s solutions to enhance operational effectiveness and drive positive outcomes.
  • Represent Axon at industry events, conferences, and forums to showcase our capabilities and thought leadership in cloud-based law enforcement technology.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform engagement strategies and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Track and report on engagement activities, including key milestones, outcomes, and performance metrics, to senior leadership and stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Experience in sales operations & strategy
  • Experience in enterprise technology, SaaS, or public sector-focused solutions preferred
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, matrixed global environment
  • Proven experience supporting or co-owning complex sales cycles and quoting processes
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, legal, finance, and delivery teams
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and results-driven
  • Experience working with or alongside system integrators or channel partners is highly desirable
  • Experience working as European Public Safety Executive - Preferred
  • Experience engaging with EuropCop or experience working within EuroCop - Preferred
