We are a global, full-service credit rating agency, recognized by the SEC as a Nationally Recognized Statistical Ratings Organization since our founding in 2010. We provide credit ratings, financial research, and credit analysis to investors. Our goal is to deliver timely, independent, and insightful research, focusing on accuracy and integrity. Through KBRA Analytics, our product platform, we offer several data-centric applications. These include “Insightful Ratings & Research”; “KBRA Credit Profile” for monthly CMBS surveillance; “KBRA Financial Intelligence” for data and analytics; a “Ratings Feed” for direct ratings; and “DLD” for news and analysis in private credit. We cover sectors like ABS, CMBS, RMBS, REITs, Project Finance, Corporates, Public Finance, Financial Guaranty, Financial Institutions, Insurance, Funds, Sovereigns, and Structured Credit. We also specialize in European securitization, private credit, and specific consumer asset-backed securities like autos, unsecured consumer loans, credit cards, and student loans. Our expertise extends to commercial ABS across assets such as data centers, communications infrastructure, equipment, and aviation.

We operate in the United States and Europe, with offices in New York, Dresher, Frederick, Chicago, Dublin, London, and Tokyo. We have over 650 employees and have issued more than 87,700 ratings, totaling over $4.19 trillion in issuance.

We founded KBRA in 2010 with the mission to restore trust in credit ratings. We do this by setting higher standards for risk assessment and a commitment to transparency.
