Job Description
The Axonius Finance team is seeking a Senior FP&A professional to serve as a strategic financial partner to our CTO organization. Reporting directly to our senior director of Finance, you will drive the end-to-end financial reporting and planning processes for Engineering, Product, and Tech Support teams. This role is instrumental in translating technical initiatives into actionable financial insights to optimize our global R&D investments.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Engineering and Product leadership to develop cost-maximizing strategies and identify key business drivers for technology investments.
- Build and maintain complex financial models to manage OpEx, headcount forecasting, and annual operating plans for the CTO organization.
- Track and report on mission-critical SaaS metrics, including R&D spend efficiency, product development timelines, and engineering productivity.
- Drive monthly and quarterly reporting cycles, providing comprehensive variance analysis and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of FP&A experience, specifically within a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related quantitative field.
- Advanced technical proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, including complex modeling (e.g., multi-variable Index/Match).
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Insights or similar financial planning software.
- Proven experience managing OpEx and headcount forecasting for technical/R&D departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex financial data to non-finance technical stakeholders.
- Experience operating in an “IC4” or equivalent senior-level independent contributor capacity.
- Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure costs and R&D productivity metrics.
- Proven track record in a global, fast-paced cybersecurity or enterprise software company.
- High proficiency in English, capable of leading strategic discussions with global leadership.
