Founded in 2021, we are an internet marketplace for small business sellers and buyers. We provide a trusted and transparent platform for small business sales, giving owners the information they need and connecting them with serious buyers who can access verified company data. Our platform gives owners instant, more accurate valuations using public data and their financials. For sellers, we offer M&A brokers and aim to close deals 50% faster than the industry average, at half the cost of a traditional broker. 70% of our listings close, which we believe is 10 times more likely to succeed than traditional methods. For buyers, our platform provides single-platform NDAs for detailed financials and owner interview videos. We also offer dedicated support from analysis through closing. Buyers using us are 10 times more likely to close and complete deals 50% faster than the industry average.

We’ve observed that 70% of small business owners need to retire in the next ten years. Yet, 98% don’t know their business’s value, even though 61% consider it important.

We created Baton to support small business owners and inspire a new generation of entrepreneurs.
