Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Business Analyst with experience within the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry to work 100% remote.
This is a full-time, remote nearshore opportunity for a U.S based client (outsourcing model, process managed by Bertoni) in the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry. CROs provide clinical trial management, regulatory support, data management, and other research-related services to pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and healthcare companies, helping them develop and bring new therapies to market.
Demonstrated experience in the CRO field will be the main factor in screening, accounting for about 95% of the evaluation.
Qualifications
🎯 Requirements & Responsibilities:
- Partner with business owners and end users to uncover needs, including those not initially articulated.
- Define and document clear business requirements and solution designs.
- Analyze the complexity of the business process and translate findings into requirements that support enterprise objectives.
- Identify requirements needed to ensure end-to-end service performance from the end-user perspective.
- Help business owners communicate the value of solutions to key stakeholders.
- Provide accurate project effort estimates and assess the impact of changes in business strategy.
- Facilitate evaluation of solution options and support decision-making that aligns with the target architecture.
- Identify opportunities to create reusable enterprise services and capabilities.
- Educate technical teams on the business context, goals, and priorities of each project.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office, Jira and Scrum or Agile.
- Advanced written and spoken English fluency (B2+, ideally C1/C2).
- Experience in the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry, supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences companies.
- Candidates located in the caribbean, central and south america only.
Additional Information
Please note that we will not be moving forward with any applicants who do not meet the following mandatory requirements:
- +5 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Hands on experience with Jira, Agile/Scrum and DevOps.
- Experience in the CRO (Contract Research Organization) industry, supporting pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences companies.
- Advanced written and spoken English fluency is a MUST HAVE (from B2 level to C1/C2)
- MUST BE located in Central or South America, as this is a nearshore position (Please note that we are not able to consider candidates requiring relocation or those located offshore).
📌 Role Details:
- Contract type: Independent Contractor (no tax/insurance coverage), gross monthly payment based on hourly rate.
- Work model: 100% remote.
- Duration: 6 months initially, renewable annually based on performance. (The initial contract runs through end of year with a definite extension expected).
- Time zone: Full-time, from8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday (EST, USA).
- Equipment: Contractor must use their own laptop/PC.
