We’re an AI-powered platform and marketplace for home renovations, connecting homeowners and contractors across all 50 US states.

Homeowners use our platform for planning and design, including our Renovation Studio to visualize spaces, estimate costs, and select materials. We match homeowners with vetted local contractors and provide competitive quotes with transparent pricing. Our platform includes expert-reviewed proposals, a secure, progress-based payment system, change order review, and ongoing guidance from a dedicated Project Planner. We also provide workmanship warranties and project protections.

We support renovations for kitchens, bathrooms, additions, living spaces, attics, basements, and bedrooms, plus new builds, Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs), and commercial projects. For contractors, we aim to help them build thriving businesses. Our contractor vetting process includes background checks, verification of licensing and insurance (minimum $2MM coverage), project reviews, skills assessments, and site visits.

Block Renovation projects have a strong track record: 84% have zero change orders, 88% stay within 5% of the original proposal, 91% of homeowners rate their contractor 4 or 5 stars, and 90% are completed on schedule. We’ve raised over $100 million in Series C funding. We also offer optional paid Design Services.
