We’re looking for a Team Lead to take full ownership of Bolt’s Grocery & Retail vertical within the Czech Republic - leading strategy, execution, and growth across all retail categories. You’ll act as the country head for this business line, driving our mission to make everyday essentials accessible, fast, and affordable. <strong>About the role</strong>

As the Team Lead, Grocery & Retail, you will own the Stores business in your country - from defining strategy to driving daily execution and performance. Reporting to the Country Manager (directly) and the Regional Grocery & Retail Manager (functionally), you’ll be responsible for scaling the vertical to contribute with a strong double digit share of Bolt Food GMV at a positive margin.

This role blends strategic vision, commercial leadership, and operational excellence - you’ll lead a small team, manage the P&L, and work cross-functionally to ensure Bolt becomes the preferred partner for both customers and retailers.

<strong>Main tasks and responsibilities:</strong>

  • Defining and owning the country strategy for Bolt’s Grocery & Retail vertical, from long-term vision to short-term growth plans.
  • Leading and developing a local team across Sales, Account Management, and Operations, fostering high performance and ownership.
  • Owning the country P&L - ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and strong unit economics.
  • Building and expanding strategic partnerships with leading grocery, retail, and specialty chains.
  • Driving commercial excellence by securing, launching, and growing Most Wanted Brand (MWB) partners across categories.
  • Collaborating with Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Product to improve selection, visibility, and customer experience.

<strong>About you:</strong>

  • You have 6+ years of experience in commercial, business development, or category leadership roles - ideally in tech, retail, quick-commerce, or marketplaces.
  • You have a proven track record of owning business strategy and P&L, delivering sustainable growth and profitability.
  • You’ve led and developed high-performing teams, combining strategic direction with hands-on execution.
  • You excel in negotiation and stakeholder management, confidently engaging with senior retail partners.
  • You’re analytical and data-driven, making decisions based on metrics, insights, and ROI.
  • You act like an owner - thriving in fast-paced, ambiguous environments and relentlessly driving results.
