Overview of the Role
- Some of our clients are seeking a dedicated Deductions Specialist to assist them with managing, reconciling, and clearing deductions. This CPG detective will be responsible for effectively researching, analyzing, documenting, and resolving a variety of deduction claim types in accordance with client specific standards and procedures. The ideal candidate would be well organized, detail oriented with excellent communication skills, and able to work independently.
- Location: Chicago, IL will observe a hybrid schedule in office 3 days
- Salary range: $45,000 - $48,000 based on experience, qualifications and skills.

What You’ll Doat C.A. Fortune
- Communicate openly with clients and internal sales department to resolve deduction inquiries
- Gather claim documentation, investigate, and analyze to validate customer deductions
- Maintain necessary data to follow up and keep track of deductions
- Process credits to offset resolved deductions
- Work in web-based trade management systems for contracted customers
- Provide excellent, timely, accurate and professional customer service
- Handle and manage incoming calls and emails from internal & external partners
- Will handle all other tasks as assigned
What You Should Bring to the Table
- Prior CPG deductions experienced (required)
- Must possess good computer skills as well as be a team player with a positive attitude
- Previous professional experience using Microsoft Office
- Organized and detail oriented
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong multitasking skills
- High attention to detail
- Must be able to solve problems with urgency
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Prior experience with a broker/manufacturer a plus
You Will Stand Out if You Have
- You have UNFI and/or KeHE deductions experience
- You have worked in a trade management system (ex: Vividly, BluePlanner)
