We are a young start-up embarking on our next phase of growth and are looking for motivated aspiring individuals to join us.

  • Location: Singapore, hybrid work arrangement
  • Mode of employment: Full-time position
  • Working hours: 9.30am - 6.30pm

Some examples of the work involved (The following applies to Singapore tax)

  • Preparing and reviewing GST calculations (including pre-registration input tax claims), filing of GST returns, filing of GST registration and de-registration applications, liaising with IRAS, attending to GST queries, and handling ad-hoc GST advisory engagements.
  • Preparing and/or reviewing corporate tax computations, filing of corporate tax returns, liaising with IRAS, attending to corporate tax queries, and handling ad-hoc corporate tax advisory engagements
  • Having additional varied experience in bookkeeping and accounts preparation, withholding tax, transfer pricing, etc. is an added advantage

We are looking forward to working with someone who:

  • Education and experience: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Accounting or an equivalent professional qualification (i.e. ACCA) with at least 2 years of experience in GST and/or corporate tax.

  • Language: Able to communicate well in English (both spoken and written). Being bilingual in English and Chinese/Malay is an added advantage

  • Software and skills: Proficient in Google Sheets, Google Docs, MS Excel and MS Word. Experience in accounting software (i.e. Xero, Dext, Talenox, etc.) is preferred but not strictly required.

  • Has an analytical mind and can work independently under tight deadlines

  • Is meticulous and has attention to detail. Demonstrate this by forming a sentence using the word โ€œsimpleโ€ in your application (either in the Cover Letter or Summary section)

  • Has good communication and interpersonal skills

  • Is a proactive and responsible team player

  • You will be guided by a senior when you start, but we expect you to be able to work independently to achieve clear outcomes after your training phase

  • $3,000 - $4,000 per month depending on experience

  • Higher remuneration/position is possible for applicants with more extensive experience and/or the ability to handle a more diverse set of tasks

  • Full-time and permanent position

  • Flexible hours/working arrangement can be arranged if the situation permits

  • Corporate mobile phone and laptop will be provided

  • Travel expenses incurred for work are reimbursable
