Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is seeking a Production Director to join our team working on Project Sirius, a multiplayer game set within the world of The Witcher. Reporting to the Executive Producer and as a member of the project’s Directors group, they will drive project-wide clarity, manage risk and ensure development remains predictable and aligned across the entire project. The ideal candidate is highly experienced in game development and production management, is organized and self-motivated, and is passionate about games.
Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the project’s Directors group, shaping project-wide strategy beyond production.
- Oversees and manages the Lead Producers directly, and provides mentorship for the full production team.
- Responsible for recruitment of Production team, coordinating and consulting with Executive Producer.
- Provides structured performance input for producers and other leaders, focusing on delivery effectiveness, collaboration and risk management.
- Builds team structures that enable scalability, strong cross-functional collaboration and long-term project success.
- Supports the Executive Producer in project routines, reviews, and external representation when required.
- Supports the Executive Producer by representing production leadership when needed, contributing to both production and broader leadership decision-making.
- Oversees management of project backlog, jira methodologies, tools, workflows and production practices.
- Ability to challenge and set standards for deliverables, pipelines and milestones.
- Anticipates risks, implements mitigation strategies, and escalates critical issues to the Executive Producer.
- Oversees co-development partnerships, budgets and cross-team dependencies to ensure smooth execution.
- Consults with Executive Producer to identify areas of need for project headcount and budget.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- At least 5+ years of experience as a Lead Producer or Production Director in game development, with a proven track record of leading large-scale, successful AAA projects and managing producers.
- Ability to self-drive, work autonomously, and deliver.
- Demonstrated experience in leading cross-functional teams, in an Agile environment.
- Experience building, growing, and maintaining productive teams.
- Deep understanding of the pipelines in the game development process, and proven track record of instilling process and workflows.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proactive problem-solving skills with a positive and constructive attitude.
- Practices and encourages kindness, empathy and respect.
Nice to have:
- Experience producing games in UE4/UE5
- Familiarity with CDPR products

Estimated pay range for this position: $198,600 - $297,800 USD annually
This role may also be eligible for discretionary stock options.
At CD PROJEKT RED compensation for our roles in North America are determined based on competitive market data, geographic location, and individual factors tied to business needs. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Final offers are dependent on job-related factors like experience, qualifications, and location.
