We are currently seeking a passionate Data Analyst to join our team in Essendon, VIC.
What you’ll do:
- Analyse large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable business insights.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualisations to support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to gather reporting requirements and define analytical objectives.
- Perform data cleansing, validation, and quality assurance activities to ensure data integrity and reliability.
- Interpret and communicate findings through clear reporting and presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support forecasting, performance analysis, and business planning activities using statistical and analytical techniques.
- Assist in developing data models and automation processes to improve reporting efficiency and business outcomes.
- Work with various data sources and systems to extract, transform, and analyse information effectively.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to optimise processes and reporting capabilities.
What you’ll bring:
- Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience in a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Experience working with reporting and visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of SQL, Excel, and data analysis methodologies.
- Ability to communicate insights effectively with stakeholders across varying levels of technical understanding.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
