We are seeking an experienced Integration Developer to support the delivery of integrations across a major education management transformation program. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and implementation of integration solutions that enable seamless data exchange across systems, supporting improved service delivery and operational outcomes. This role will be based in Darwin, NT.
What You’ll Do
- Design, develop, and maintain integration solutions across business systems
- Build and support multi-layered applications using C#, .NET, and SQL Server
- Develop and consume web services, APIs, and message-based integrations (e.g. IBM MQ)
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Perform unit testing and support integration and system testing activities
- Contribute to technical architecture and solution design
- Manage code through version control systems such as Git
- Track and manage work items using tools such as JIRA
- Ensure solutions are delivered within agreed timeframes and quality standards
- Participate in consultation with project teams, end-users, and stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Strong experience developing applications using C#, .NET, Web APIs, and SQL Server
- Proven capability with integration technologies including web services, APIs, and messaging systems
- Experience with modern frameworks such as .NET MVC, WebAPI, or similar
- Proficiency with version control tools (e.g. Git) and issue tracking systems (e.g. JIRA)
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and front-end development
- Solid understanding of software development practices including unit testing
- Ability to contribute to technical design and architecture
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in IT, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
