Founded in 2015, we build HR software and offer services for small teams and businesses. Our software automates administrative tasks like one-click onboarding, time-off management, and centralized document storage within a team database. It also includes performance review tools, integrated perks and benefits (with access to over 30,000 deals), and clear guidance on HR policies.
We also offer one-to-one support services, “Charlie Advice” and “Charlie Plus.” These are delivered by CIPD qualified advisors who help with documentation, UK employment law compliance, and complex HR situations. Our software is GDPR-compliant and ISO 27001-certified. We currently serve over 3,000 small companies and startups. We also offer Charlie Recruit, an Applicant Tracking System.

We are a team of around 40 people. We operate with a hybrid-first approach, with an office in London and team members working remotely across the UK.
We expect employees to attend 6 full-company meetups in London annually. We also allow team members to work outside the UK for up to 90 days per year, from any time zone. We aim to build a work culture that supports healthy and fulfilling lives for our team.
