Reporting to: Head of Partnerships (North America) & Ecom North Singapore Founder

ABOUT ECOM NORTH :

Ecom North is Canada’s premier eCommerce community, built to help DTC founders scale through high-impact events, retreats, and industry insights. After the success of their flagship North American events, Ecom North launched its first Singapore Summit in November 2025 and it was a hit!

Now, they are running it back in Singapore and expanding into Australia. That’s where you come in.

This role owns partnership prospecting and revenue generation across APAC, helping grow the ecosystem by securing high-value, strategic partnerships. If you have built your own brand, worked closely with founders or know how to turn relationships into revenue, we definitely want to hear from you!

ROLE OVERVIEW :

As the Partnerships Manager (APAC), you will be the boots on the ground for Ecom North’s regional expansion. This is a sales-led, high-impact role focused on securing sponsorships and multi-channel partnerships that power flagship events and year-round content.

You will work closely with the Head of Partnerships in Canada to localize strategy, identify key players in the APAC eCommerce ecosystem and close complex partnership deals — think event sponsorships, digital integrations and category exclusivity. No pressure… just meaningful growth and big wins.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING :

  • Know the Ecosystem - You have a solid understanding of the APAC eCommerce landscape - the tools, platforms and services brands rely on to scale.
  • Drive Revenue - Actively prospect, pitch and close high-value partnerships to support the growth of Singapore and Australian summits.
  • Bring the Hunter Energy - Own the full sales cycle end-to-end, from prospecting regional service providers (3PLs, FinTechs, agencies) to closing and contracting.
  • Localize the Value - Adapt Ecom North’s partnership offerings such as webinars, newsletters, event branding to resonate with the SEA eCommerce market.
  • Build and Manage Relationships - Serve as the primary regional point of contact, ensuring partners receive a white-glove experience and flawless execution.
  • Collaborate Across Time Zones - Maintain strong communication and feedback loops with the North American leadership team (yes, some early or late calls - coffee helps :).

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • eCommerce Background (Preferred) - You understand the DTC space, founder pain points and the value propositions of vendors serving this ecosystem.
  • 3–5 Years in B2B Sales or Partnerships - Proven experience selling intangibles - events, SaaS, communities or agency services.
  • Network Advantage - Existing relationships within the Southeast Asian eCommerce ecosystem are a big plus.
  • Operational Discipline - Comfortable working remotely while maintaining strong CRM hygiene, follow-ups and deal momentum.
  • Strong Communicator & Negotiator - Confident pitching to C-suite executives and regional leaders, with the ability to close complex, high-value deals.
