We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our team on an exciting Project for a major American investment client. This role will require you to work 3x/week at our office in Campinas as part of a development squad, collaborating closely with the client team.
As part of this project, we will be developing websites for clients in the financial market, offering a range of information and features for purchasing mutual funds, ETFs, retirement plans, bonds, and other financial products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using AWS services such as Step Functions, Glue, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and maintain scalable backend applications using Java, with a focus on Java Spring Boot.
- Ensure data integrity and optimize data processing workflows.
- Participate in code reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members in English.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Backend Developer with a strong focus on Java (Java Spring Boot preferred).
- Hands-on experience with ETL processes and data management.
- Experience with AWS services, especially Step Functions, Glue, S3, and DynamoDB.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Important: Availability to work at the Campinas base 3x/week.
