Why you’ll love this role as a Software Engineer at Civica
We’re looking for a skilled Software Engineer to help modernise our legacy desktop application and drive its transformation into a scalable SaaS product. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working with desktop applications using WPF, with the ability to refactor and enhance legacy codebases. You should have hands-on experience working in an Agile squad, building and integrating dynamic mapping software, and working with technologies such as .NET, SQL, Flutter, and Dart. If you’re passionate about modernising platforms, integrating maps, and contributing to high-performing Agile teams, we’d love to hear from you.
In this role, you’ll develop secure, high-quality code, participate in technical discussions, support requirement analysis, and deliver features within agile timelines. You’ll also work on unit and integration testing while collaborating closely with stakeholders. If you enjoy building clean, scalable solutions in a dynamic environment, we’d love to hear from you!

- Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience.

Mandatory Skills (Must Have):
- ASP.NET MVC using C# – 2+ years
- JavaScript / jQuery – 1+ year
- HTML, CSS – 2+ years
- SQL Server – 2+ years
Highly Desirable Skills (Good to Have):
- Web API / WCF / Web Services – 1+ year
- ASP.NET Web Forms using C# – 1+ year
- Client-side JavaScript Frameworks (React / Knockout / Angular / Vue.js) – 1+ year
