We are a remote-first blockchain company, founded in London in 2015. We build member-owned and governed decentralized network platforms for the direct, peer-to-peer exchange of tokenized value between network members. Our work emphasizes robust protocol design and peer-to-peer principles. We aim to eliminate friction and market inefficiencies in these exchange systems, ensuring strong security and interoperability across platforms. Our goal is to contribute to a comprehensive peer-to-peer ecosystem for market infrastructure.

Our expertise includes Blockchain technology, Smart Contracts, OTC Derivatives Technology, Custodial Technology, Distributed Ledger Technology, Distributed Systems, Interoperability, Consensus mechanisms, Privacy protocols, Network Economics, and the Ethereum ecosystem.

Our founder and CEO, Robert Sams, introduced the concept of ‘Seigniorage Shares’ in a 2014 paper, a key idea for decentralized stablecoins, and also coined ‘smart derivatives’. Vitalik Buterin advises our team. We maintain strong connections within the Open Source and Ethereum communities and collaborate with the Ethereum Foundation as an EEA Member.
