We are seeking an energetic and self-motivated entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join our team. The successful individual will have knowledge of engineering principles relevant to the design of HVAC and plumbing systems including heat transfer, refrigeration, thermodynamics, and fluid mechanics. In addition, the individual should be comfortable consulting to architectural practices and have a desire to work on a multi-discipline engineering team.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
- Approximate Base Salary – $70,000.00 - $95,000.00 based on experience.
- Paid overtime at 1.0 times hourly rate.
- Generous end of year discretionary bonus based on company/team/personal performance.
- Hybrid Work Schedule (subject to change).
- 401k with maximum of 5% Contribution Matching for 9% Employee Contribution.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Work semi‐independently.
- Able to multi‐task and prioritize in a fast‐paced environment (or demonstrate ability to develop such skills).
- Possess strong critical thinking, organizational, and analytical abilities (or demonstrate ability to develop such skills).
- Able to maintain positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Positive contributor to overall office and department goals, culture, and morale.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- BS in mechanical engineering or related field from an accredited college (required).
- Registration as an Engineer-in-Training or Professional Engineer in California (preferred).
- Familiarity with relevant codes: mechanical, energy, plumbing, ASHRAE.
- Experience with Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and Revit (preferred).
- Experience working in a collaborate team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Expected Salary Range: $70,000.00 - $95,000.00
