About Rocket Lab

Founded in 2006, we are a space company that builds, launches, and operates rockets and spacecraft. We provide launch services, complete spacecraft design and manufacturing, and satellite components.\n\nOur launch vehicle fleet includes Electron, the world’s most frequently launched small orbital rocket and the second most frequently launched U.S. rocket, which has launched 247 satellites. We also have HASTE, a suborbital testbed developed from our existing rocket technology for hypersonic testing. We are developing Neutron, a 13-tonne payload class launch vehicle for deploying constellations, resupplying cargo, and interplanetary missions.\n\nWe offer configurable spacecraft solutions like Photon, Pioneer, Lightning, and Explorer. We also manufacture various satellite components and subsystems, including space solar cells (which power over 1,000 spacecraft), flight and ground software, satellite separation systems, and carbon composite structures for spacecraft and launch vehicles.\n\nWe serve commercial and government satellite operators worldwide. For example, we were awarded an $816M prime contract to build a missile-defense satellite constellation for the U.S. Space Force. Over 1,700 satellites in orbit use our technology.
