Connexity, a Taboola company, (in addition to its family of brands, Skimlinks and ShopYourLikes) is a performance-marketing technology company that drives new customers and sales to retailers and generates premium earnings for publishers. Each year we deliver over $4 billion in sales to retailers and pay out industry-leading rates to publishers and influencers. With 30+ years of proven success in the US, UK, EMEA, and APAC, Connexity is a long-time ecommerce pioneer.
Skimlinks helps Editorial Publishers, Shopping Platforms and Creators monetise every step of the shopper journey. We turn their content and shopping experiences into affiliate revenue, automatically and across the globe.
Role overview
Connexity is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the development and strategic direction of our pricing architecture. This is a director-level individual contributor role focused on revenue critical backend pricing infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for the evolution and modernisation of manually configured tools for valuing publisher traffic with a focus on automation and introduction of ML and AI technologies.
This role owns the economic logic of the Connexity marketplace. It requires a candidate who can translate high-level business objectives into scalable technical specifications that drive measurable net revenue growth.
Core Responsibilities
Automation & Machine Learning: Allocate approximately 40%-50% of resources to integrating ML/AI models into the pricing logic. The objective is to increase pricing accuracy and eliminate the need for manual overrides and legacy configurations.
Architectural Strategy: Evaluate the current pricing framework and design the next-generation services required to support emerging campaign types, including Sponsorships and hybrid performance models.
Platform Ownership: Act as the primary owner for the pricing roadmap. Collaborate with Engineering and our analyst to define the most impactful requirements for data ingestion, enrichment, and storage layers. We do not want to ship just for the sake of it, we want to ship the right features with the biggest impact.
Operational Stability: Maintain the integrity of the existing pricing stack to ensure revenue stability while simultaneously architecting the transition to new systems.
Stakeholder Management: Serve as the technical authority on pricing for the product and commercial leadership teams, providing data-backed evidence for strategic shifts and marketplace adjustments.
Seniority: Minimum of 8 years in Product Management, with a significant background in backend platform infrastructure and marketplace economics.
Technical Proficiency: Extensive experience working alongside Data Science/Analytics teams to deploy production-grade ML models. Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g., BigQuery) is required.
Commercial Logic: A deep understanding of how pricing algorithms influence merchant ROAS, publisher yield, and overall marketplace health.
Independent Execution: Proven ability to manage a complex roadmap and drive cross-functional alignment without the need for a dedicated team of junior product managers.
Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to resolve complex data dependencies and conflicting business requirements through rigorous analysis.
