We build blockchain software, tools, infrastructure, and research for decentralized finance and web3. We focus on rebuilding the financial stack, from consumer wallets to institutional settlement and the global infrastructure layer for digital value. Our products are called “trustware.”

• MetaMask: A self-custodial wallet with over 100 million annual users. Available as a browser extension and mobile app, it’s a gateway to decentralized finance, letting users control their assets and digital identity. It connects to hundreds of thousands of dApps.
• Linea: An institutional-grade zkEVM layer 2 protocol designed to be fully Ethereum equivalent. It includes ETH burn mechanics and an ecosystem fund.
• MetaMask Developer: A suite of tools for developers to integrate applications with MetaMask via an SDK, test features with Flask, and extend functionality with Snaps.
• Infura: Enterprise-grade blockchain infrastructure providing reliable access to Ethereum and other networks. It handles trillions of requests annually for hundreds of thousands of developers, helping them build and scale decentralized finance applications.

Joseph Lubin, an Ethereum co-founder, started the company in 2014. We’ve contributed to Ethereum’s development, including protocol upgrades. Our expertise covers Cryptocurrency, Blockchain, Web 3.0, Ethereum, Fintech, Decentralized Applications (dApps), and Solidity.
