We are seeking a detail-oriented CAD Technician to create accurate technical drawings and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The successful candidate will work closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to translate concepts and specifications into precise drawings that support project development and execution.

  • Produce 2D and/or 3D technical drawings using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
  • Develop detailed layouts, views, and sections based on sketches, specifications, and calculations.
  • Develop and organize installation instruction illustrations.
  • Revise and update drawings to reflect design changes and project requirements.
  • Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and company drafting practices.
  • Maintain and update organized drawing files and supporting documentation and revision control in document control system.
  • Coordinate with project teams to resolve design and technical issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, based on workload and business needs.

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma, certificate, or associate degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks required; AutoCAD a plus).
  • Strong understanding of drafting standards, symbols, and technical conventions.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and design concepts.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in a CAD or drafting role (depending on seniority).
  • Industry-specific experience (mechanical or manufacturing).
  • Knowledge of document control processes.
  • Experience with 3D modeling and visualization.

Working Conditions
