We’re a green-tech start-up on a mission to make our digital lives more sustainable. Our solution, GRADIENT Perceptive AI, is a no-code, plug-and-play optimization tool that helps data centers operate more efficiently, sustainably, and cost-effectively. Already in use across the globe, GRADIENT has saved thousands of GWh in energy. And we’re just getting started!
As we scale up, we’re looking for a collaborative part-time (16-24hrs/week) Working Student - Software Development to help expand GRADIENT’s reach and drive impactful change in how the world powers digital life.

As a working student within the Software Development Team, you will:
Develop, test, and maintain user interfaces and backend systems, contributing directly to features used in production.
Build and optimize web applications using modern frameworks and tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions.
Gain hands-on experience with full-stack development, version control, and software best practices.
See your work directly contribute to reducing CO₂ emissions on a global scale.
Requirements
🔋 What powers you
Enrolled in a BSc (final year) or MSc programme in Computer Science, AI, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
Core Skills:
Strong foundation in JavaScript, CSS, HTML.
Experience with frontend frameworks (e.g., React) and/or backend systems (e.g., Node.js, APIs).
Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
Ability to analyze, debug, and extend existing codebases.
Understanding of web development concepts (HTTP, APIs, databases).
Familiarity with software development best practices (testing, code reviews, secure coding).
Nice to-haves
Experience with TypeScript, modern frontend tooling, or cloud platforms.
Previous internship or working student experience as a Developer.
Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work independently in an English-speaking environment.
