Sr Associate People Partner
Hybrid work model, based in our Bangalore office, with a minimum of three In-office days per week
The Senior Associate, People Partner will support people initiatives for our APAC region partnering closely with managers and other senior People Partners to enable business goals. Based in India, this role will focus on execution and day-to-day partnership while building the capability to influence leaders, support talent decisions, and drive a positive employee experience across the region.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the representative of the People Partner organization for our APAC region and the Bangalore office location,
- Provide People support and coaching to mid-level managers on HR policies and processes, people management, career development, and more
- Coach managers on performance management, employee development, feedback, and basic employee relations.
- Use data, best practices, and sound judgment to positively influence manager decision-making on people topics.
- Partner closely with key stakeholders across the People Team (Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, Talent Development, and Operations), Finance, and Legal teams to evolve and implement services, processes, and employee initiatives
- Work with the Talent Development team to coordinate and deliver local employee events and training opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives
- Conduct investigations into employee complaints or grievances, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring fair and consistent outcomes
- Partner with our Benefits team to support and coordinate employee leave of absence requests, ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation alignment, and system updates, while serving as a point of escalation for employee questions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in HR, making recommendations for process improvements and implementing innovative solutions
- Support HR projects and initiatives as assigned, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives
Skills & Abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role, including experience independently conducting investigations into employee complaints or grievances and experience working with leaders to provide insights, options, coaching, and guidance on HR topics
- Proven ability to handle employee relations matters effectively and confidentially
- Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment laws and regulations for the geographic location of your role
- Solid understanding of HR best practices, excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skill
