Job Description
We are looking for a Medical Billing & Appeals Specialist to assist with appeals submission for denied claims and support day-to-day billing operations. This role is ideal for someone with foundational billing knowledge who is eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparing and submitting appeals for denied medical claims
Review EOBs and error codes to understand claim denials
Support accurate use of CPT and ICD codes under guidance
Assist with claims processing related to workers’ compensation carriers
Help with other billing and administrative tasks as assigned
Basic understanding of medical billing and appeals processes
Familiarity with CPT and ICD codes
Ability to review EOBs and denial/error codes
Good written communication and typing skills
Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
Preferred:
Exposure to Pain Management or Imaging specialties
Prior experience in medical billing or revenue cycle roles
