Full Stack Developer

Job description

We are currently looking for a Full-Stack Developer to contribute to the development, maintenance, and modernization of IT systems supporting large-scale programs. The role involves working closely with stakeholders to deliver digital solutions that improve business processes and ensure the efficient implementation of services.

Location: Near-site (accessible within 2 hours from Brussels) – Remote work possible

Responsibilities

  • Development and maintenance of software applications.
  • Design and development of component architecture and building blocks for a web content management system.
  • Analysis of the integration of different information systems.
  • Data analysis and data modelling.
  • Production of software architecture documents.
  • Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users.
  • Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
  • Review of the architecture of existing systems to migrate of existing system in the cloud.
  • Assistance in the testing and technical training.
  • Writing of technical documentation.
  • Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system.
  • Depending on the circumstances, the architect may be requested to provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues.

Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English (C1 level).

IT skills:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Java development.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience with web services.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with Angular.
  • Strong knowledge of software architecture best practices, microservices, and cloud architecture.
  • Experience with applications design, modeling tools, enterprise architecture, and relational databases.
  • Understanding of user authentication and authorization systems.
  • Very good knowledge of Java (Spring Boot), ORMs (Hibernate, JPA), Angular, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Gradle, Oracle, and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket).
  • Knowledge of Jenkins, CI/CD, and agile development principles.
