Program Manager, Specialized Funds
Rate: $60β$65/hr W2
Location: Remote, EST Working Hours
Del Oro Consulting is seeking an experienced Program Manager to support the operational management of specialized funding initiatives within a global business environment. This role focuses on ensuring funding programs are executed efficiently, tracked accurately, and aligned with established guidelines and financial controls.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working across multiple systems and stakeholders to ensure program integrity and operational stability.
Role Summary:
The Program Manager will oversee the day-to-day coordination and tracking of specialized funding programs designed to support strategic growth initiatives. This includes managing workflows, monitoring financial activity, maintaining accurate reporting, and identifying opportunities to strengthen processes and controls.
This position requires strong data fluency, sound judgment, and the ability to anticipate downstream impacts when processes or inputs change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage operational execution of specialized funding initiatives, ensuring activities align with program requirements and timelines.
- Track funding allocations, submissions, approvals, and payments to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain accurate data across multiple systems and reconcile discrepancies as needed.
- Support reporting cycles by preparing summaries, performance insights, and status updates.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve program-related questions and ensure clarity of process.
- Review funding activity to identify trends, anomalies, or areas requiring further analysis.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency, transparency, and data integrity.
- Conduct routine reviews of program workflows to ensure consistency and control.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in program management, operations management, or related roles.
- Experience supporting funding, incentive, or investment-based programs strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, and data validation.
- Experience working across multiple systems and reconciling information between platforms.
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills.
- Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience working in large, cross-functional or global organizations.
- Familiarity with financial tracking, budget oversight, or governance processes.
- Background supporting operational or commercial program frameworks.
