Deutsche Telekom IoT GmbH helps businesses around the world digitalise products, processes and business models through Internet of Things solutions. From global connectivity and connected mobility to smart buildings, healthcare, utilities and industrial IoT, we operate in a highly international B2B technology environment.We are looking for a senior digital marketing professional who can take ownership of our social media presence, AI-driven content development, social selling activities and international storytelling across relevant digital platforms.

Your responsibilities

In this role, you will take over a key position within the IoT marketing team and further develop our digital communication, social media and social selling activities.

You will:

  • You are in charge for all Social Media Activities and ensure the achievment of our SoMe goals
  • lead and further develop Deutsche Telekom IoT’s social media presence, especially on LinkedIn, YouTube and other relevant B2B platforms
  • take ownership of the Social Selling Program and enable sales and expert teams to communicate effectively on social media
  • act as editor and strategic contributor to IoT related content formats
  • translate complex IoT topics into clear, engaging and business-relevant storytelling for international B2B audiences
  • create, coordinate and optimise content formats including posts, articles, videos, carousels, case studies, landing page content and thought leadership pieces
  • use AI tools to improve ideation, research, content creation, localisation, repurposing and performance analysis
  • drive GEO initiativeson SoMe channels by developing content that is discoverable, interpretable and citable by generative AI systems such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and similar platforms
  • monitor and evaluate platform developments across LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit, WeChat and emerging digital communities
  • understand Reddit, YouTube and WeChat not as niche platforms, but as relevant ecosystems for community insights, content discovery, brand perception and international audience engagement
  • collaborate closely with product marketing, campaign management, sales, portfolio teams, international markets and external partners
  • support the cultural adaptation of content for different regions, including European markets and China-related communication contexts
  • analyse content and social media performance, derive recommendations and continuously improve reach, engagement, relevance and lead contribution
  • manage stakeholders, agencies and internal contributors with a high degree of ownership and structure

Qualifications

Your profile

You are a senior digital marketing professional with strong experience in B2B content, social media, product marketing and AI-enabled marketing. You combine strategic thinking with hands-on execution and are able to turn complex technology topics into compelling communication.

Ideally, you bring:

  • several years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, content marketing or product marketing, preferably in a B2B technology environment
  • proven experience in leading social media channels and developing platform-specific content strategies
  • experience in social selling, employee advocacy or sales enablement programs
  • strong editorial skills and experience in managing channel specific content or thought leadership content
  • solid understanding of IoT connectivity, or comparable digitalization technology topics
  • strong ability to translate technical topics into clear, relevant and engaging content for business audiences
  • hands-on experience with AI tools for marketing, content creation, research, localization, automation and performance optimization
  • understanding of GEO, AI search, generative engines and the changing role of content visibility in AI-driven environments
  • familiarity with platforms such as LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, Reddit and WeChat
  • ability to identify trends, community signals and platform-specific opportunities across international markets
  • analytical mindset and experience with content, social media and campaign performance metrics
  • strong project management skills and ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders
  • excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken; additional language skills, especially Chinese, are a plus
  • confident use of tools such as MS Office, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, YouTube Studio, Canva, Adobe Suite, HeyGen, AI tools and analytics platforms
