Job Description
Role:
- Consulting in the area of WebSphere infrastructure on zOS/Mainframe
Description of Activities:
- Support and administration of IBM WebSphere, including WebSphere Application Server Liberty on z/OS
- Technical planning for deploying new application releases on WAS according to ITIL within the project
- Support and technical consulting for applications in troubleshooting or implementing adjustments and extensions
- Administration of applications across various WebSphere profiles on z/OS
- Enhancement and creation of scripts to support operations within the project
Qualifications
Operating Systems:
- Windows, Unix (basic knowledge of command line and GUI)
- IBM WebSphere Application Server (Classic, Liberty), Apache, Tomcat
- Version Control Systems (CVS, Subversion)
- Development Environments (IBM Rational Software Development Platform, Eclipse, NetBeans)
Certifications:
- IBM / IBM Certified System Administrator – WebSphere Application Server
- ITIL / ITIL V4 Foundation
Databases:
- Oracle DB, IBM DB2, MySQL
Programming Languages:
- Java, J2SE (JSP, JSPF, JSTL)
- PHP, Smarty
- SQL
- HTML, XHTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery
- Perl
- Shell/Bash, SED, AWK, Python
Methods / Technologies:
