Job Description
Purpose
- Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities (3rd level environment) needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI’s
- Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization’s business processes
- Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards.
The Capability Cluster NET fully ensures that DTAG employees have access to the required applications at all times using their workstation systems, whether at a DTAG location in Germany, abroad or in their home office.
We are responsible for the DTAG corporate network with its more than 1,300 locations and the necessary network infrastructure services.
We ensure global connectivity for all international DTAG subsidiaries, both with each other and with our central services in Germany. We operate solutions for third-party access, the mail backbone, and ensure access via central gateways to cloud services such as Microsoft O365, CISCO WebEx, and Microsoft Azure. We connect the entire DTAG Group, both nationally and internationally.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Work independently and as part of a team to ensure stable and reliable system operations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of system performance, reliability, and operational processes.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, customers, and external partners, coordinating activities across different organizational entities.
- Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for forward proxy systems and Linux-based platforms.
- Periodic Activities
- Patch management and system updates

- Incident response and resolution
- Change configuration and implementation
- Integration of new hardware and software
- User management
- Troubleshooting and problem resolution
- Contribute to documentation, knowledge sharing, and training initiatives.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have solid understanding of ITSM operational processes and tools (incident, problem, and change management).
- Have strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and optimize operational processes.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise and support customers during incidents and service disruptions.
- Have experience working in an agile, international environment, with strong collaboration and conflict management skills.
- Have proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and responsibilities.
- Have 2–4 years of experience in IT support, including:
- Solid knowledge of TCP/IP and networking fundamentals (e.g., CCNA level).
- Experience with forward and/or reverse proxy technologies.
- Experience within an operations or system administration team.
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Network troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark, tcpdump)
- Linux-based systems
- Git
- Apache
- MS Excel
- ITSM tools (ticket handling systems)
- English proficiency at minimum B2 level.
Possible specialisation
- Participation on on-call duties , independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise.

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 1300€ /brutto.
