Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Power BI Developer with an innovative mindset to join our team working in a Scrum environment. The ideal candidate will have the opportunity to work remotely from anywhere in Slovakia and will take a leading role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-level data-driven solutions in a Microsoft BI cloud environment. This role will focus on advanced automation, predictive analytics, AI-driven insights, and self-service BI enablement to support business intelligence needs across multiple foreign countries. As a senior expert, you will drive best practices, mentor junior colleagues, and shape the strategic direction of our Power BI implementations. WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead the design, development, and optimization of complex Power BI reports, dashboards, and data models in a Microsoft Azure cloud environment using Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service.
- Act as a technical lead, ensuring best practices in data visualization, data modeling, and report performance optimization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to understand business needs, translate them into scalable BI solutions, and provide strategic guidance on data-driven decision-making.
- Drive data governance, accuracy, security, and compliance in all Power BI solutions, implementing robust data validation, security roles, and quality assurance.
- Leverage DAX, Power Query (M), and advanced data transformation techniques to develop complex business logic and analytical capabilities.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and best-practice guides, fostering knowledge sharing and upskilling within the team.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, evaluate and implement new Power BI features, AI-driven analytics, and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and innovation.
- Support the automation of reporting and analytics processes, integrating AI models and predictive analytics where applicable.
- Mentor and coach junior and mid-level Power BI developers, ensuring technical excellence and professional growth.
Qualifications
YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:
- Have 3+ years of hands-on experience in Power BI development and data visualization, with a strong track record of delivering enterprise-level, high-performance BI solutions.
- Possess deep expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, and Microsoft Azure BI stack (e.g., Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Lake, Data Factory).
- Are highly proficient in SQL, capable of optimizing complex queries and working with large datasets.
- Have advanced knowledge of DAX and Power Query (M), with the ability to write and optimize complex expressions and transformations.
- Have experience in leading BI projects, driving architectural decisions, and ensuring BI best practices.
- Have a strong understanding of data governance, security models, and role-based access control (RBAC) in Power BI.
- Are comfortable working in Agile/Scrum environments, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively.
- Have excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex datasets, identify trends, and provide strategic insights.
- Have outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences effectively.
- Have an innovative and proactive mindset, eager to explore and implement AI, automation, and machine learning use cases in BI solutions.
- Speak English fluently.

Salary
Final salary is negotiable.
We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 2000€ /brutto.
