transformation journeys by designing and implementing secure, scalable, and high-performance
cloud solutions.
We are expanding our Cloud & Data team and are looking for a GCP Architect to join us and lead the
design of complex cloud architectures for enterprise clients across various industries.
Job Description
Your Role
As a GCP Architect at Devoteam, you will act as a trusted technical advisor for our customers,
shaping cloud strategies and translating business requirements into robust Google Cloud solutions.
You will work closely with engineers, consultants, and client stakeholders in international project
teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
● Design and own end-to-end Google Cloud architectures for enterprise and mid-market
clients
● Lead cloud adoption and migration initiatives (on-premise / AWS / Azure to GCP)
● Define architecture standards, best practices, and reference models across Devoteam
projects
● Collaborate with DevOps, data, and application teams to deliver scalable cloud-native
solutions
● Design and establish CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies for reliable, automated
software delivery
● Provide technical leadership during presales activities, workshops, and client presentations
● Create detailed architecture documentation and solution designs
● Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, availability, and cost-optimization requirements
● Mentor engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the Cloud practice
● Stay up to date with Google Cloud innovations and support internal competence
development
Qualifications
Requirements
● Experience in cloud architecture/5+senior cloud engineering roles.
● Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including:
○ Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Run, App Engine
○ VPC networking, Load Balancing, Cloud DNS, Cloud Armor
○ BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner
○ IAM, Security Command Center, Cloud Monitoring & Logging
● Strong experience with Kubernetes and container-based architectures
● Infrastructure as Code experience (Terraform preferred)
● Solid understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
● Experience in consulting or customer-facing roles is a strong advantage
● Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical
stakeholders
● Professional working proficiency in English
Nice to Have
● Google Professional Cloud Architect certification
● Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid architectures
● Background in data platforms or analytics on GCP
● Experience working with enterprise clients and regulated industries
