We were founded in 2013 to help students manage their financial futures. We offer education tools and lending products. These products help people reduce the total cost of their education, pay off student debt faster, and achieve financial stability.

We are in the financial services industry, focusing on consumer lending and financial technology. Our work uses both qualitative and quantitative analysis for credit strategies, covering loan approvals, pricing, servicing, and collections. We track loan portfolio performance, evaluate risk controls, monitor risk, and investigate compliance and credit risk issues.

We also use data to manage risk. This includes forecasting losses with data science models, monitoring credit data, and validating risk models. Our data science team helps with growth, risk, product development, and marketing. They work on risk modeling, pricing optimization, and strategy.

Our mission is to make higher education accessible and affordable. We believe that financially responsible individuals deserve better options and access to credit.

We have between 201 and 500 employees. Our culture is remote-first, dynamic, and diverse. The work environment is fast-paced, high-growth, and collaborative.

While most teams are US-based and remote, some roles may require working US East Coast hours or a hybrid setup in the SF Bay Area.
