ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Project Manager in Canada.
REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience as a Project Manager in IT, digital, or transformation projects, preferably in enterprise or consulting environments
- Proven experience delivering complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders, distributed teams, or cross-functional collaboration
- Strong stakeholder management skills, including regular interaction with business and IT representatives at different organizational levels
- Good understanding of IT systems, software delivery processes, and the full project life cycle, from initiation through implementation and rollout
- Hands-on experience applying project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches) and adapting them to project needs
- Familiarity with structured project management frameworks and governance practices (e.g., PMBOK or similar standards)
- Advanced English (written and spoken)
- Nice to have: experience working on enterprise systems, digital transformation, or large-scale IT implementation projects
- Nice to have: experience collaborating with global teams or working in complex organizational environments
- Nice to have: exposure to operational systems, process transformation, or integration-heavy projects

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage IT and digital transformation initiatives across the full project life cycle, from initiation and planning through implementation and rollout
- Define, align, and manage project scope, objectives, and deliverables in close collaboration with business and technical stakeholders
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, ensuring transparency, adaptability, and alignment with business priorities
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders in a matrix environment, ensuring effective collaboration and delivery progress
- Plan and oversee project timelines, milestones, and dependencies, ensuring visibility and timely execution
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, driving mitigation actions and escalation when necessary
- Act as a key point of coordination between delivery teams, internal stakeholders, and external partners when applicable
- Drive clear project governance, communication, and reporting to ensure informed decision-making and stakeholder alignment
- Monitor project budget and resource allocation where applicable, supporting planning and tracking activities
- Ensure quality standards are defined and consistently applied across project deliverables
- Contribute to continuous improvement of project management practices, processes, and knowledge sharing within the organization
