About the team
For this role, you would join a team evolving how analytics is done across the business. We’re building out the Analytics engineering capability to create reusable, well-structured data models that give teams a consistent foundation for decision-making. Instead of answering every question with one-off queries, we want to make important business concepts easier to understand and reuse across the organization.
You’ll work in close collaboration with Data engineers, Data analysts, ML specialists, and stakeholders across both business and product domains. This role sits at the intersection of technical data work and business understanding, helping turn complex raw data into reliable models that can support analytics at scale.

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain reusable data models that create a consistent foundation for analytics across the business.
- Transform complex data into clear, reliable datasets.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to understand data structures, business logic, and analytical needs for new modeling work.
- Identify opportunities to improve how analytics data is structured, documented, and delivered so teams can answer questions more efficiently and consistently.
- Contribute to the development of scalable analytics engineering practices through code reviews, iteration on model design, and a strong focus on long-term usability.
Requirements
- Proven experience in analytics engineering, data engineering, or a similar role focused on data transformation and modeling.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, especially for building robust transformations and working with complex datasets.
- Hands-on experience designing reusable data models and thinking carefully about data architecture, consistency, and long-term maintainability.
- Experience with dbt or a similar framework for managing data models and transformation workflows.
- Working knowledge of Git for version control and collaborative development.
- Ability to combine technical execution with solid business and product understanding in order to build data foundations that are practical and widely usable.
- Familiarity with areas such as data catalogs, pipeline orchestration, or modern coding workflows would be considered an advantage.
