Are you ready to be a technology leader in the SaaS space? Join epilot!

epilot is building a SaaS product to sell complex products online, focusing on solving ecommerce in the rapidly transforming energy market. Our mission: Make selling complex energy products as easy as selling a pair of shoes online.

As a Solutions Architect (AWS) – Integrations, you design, build, and operate mission-critical integrations between epilot and customer systems. You don’t just wire systems together. You architect scalable integrations on AWS infrastructure and improve our core product & APIs to make integrations easier, safer, and more scalable over time.

Requirements

What awaits you

Architect & build integrations

  • Design, implement, and operate integrations between epilot and customer systems (ERP, CRM, billing, etc.).

  • Build event-driven, serverless AWS architectures (APIs, queues, workflows).

  • Own integrations end-to-end, including production responsibility.

Build integration tooling into the core product

  • Design and implement platform capabilities and tooling (APIs, monitoring, internal tools) that make integrations faster and more self-service.

  • Turn customer-specific solutions into reusable product features.

  • Improve developer experience for customers, partners, and epilot engineers.

  • Shape how integrations are modeled, configured, tested, and monitored.

Lead customer integration projects

  • Act as technical lead for onboarding and migration projects.

  • Design target architectures together with customers.

  • Customize and extend standard integrations to real-world needs.

Own stability & operations

  • Define and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, retries, and error handling.

  • Ensure integrations meet agreed SLAs for reliability and performance.

Handle complex data flows

  • Large-scale imports/exports, transformations, reconciliation.

  • ETL-like pipelines using cloud-native tooling.

  • Ensure data quality and integrity across distributed systems.

Work mainly on backend, cloud & architecture

  • Serverless AWS microservices, APIs, and event systems.

  • Occasional frontend or internal tooling work when needed.

Use AI as a force multiplier

  • Daily use of AI code agents for implementation, refactoring, debugging, and docs.

  • Help define best practices for AI-assisted development.
