Job Description
As an IT Application Support Intern for Eurofins NBLSC Food Testing Poland, you will support our software application teams in their daily work and ongoing IT projects. You will assist in providing first line support to our business users, help troubleshoot software-related issues and take part in projects focused on modernizing our internal laboratory systems (eLIMS).
Responsibilities
As an IT Application Support Intern, your key tasks will include:
- Assisting in handling support requests and troubleshooting software issues for internal users.
- Working with ticketing tools – reviewing incoming tickets, monitoring queues, and ensuring proper task logging.
- Registering and describing issues for developers, ensuring they have all necessary details to resolve the case efficiently.
- Learning to query and configure databases.
- Supporting the creation and maintenance of business reports.
- Helping to improve internal tools and systems, especially eLIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems).
- Collaborating with IT and business teams to understand requirements and suggest improvements.
Qualifications
To succeed in this internship, you should have:
- A basic understanding or academic background in IT, computer science, or a related field.
- Interest in learning about ERP or business software systems.
- Basic knowledge of SQL and motivation to improve your scripting skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Curiosity and a genuine interest in technology.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, especially Excel (nice to have).
- Fluent English is a must (C1 level proficiency is expected, B2 is a minimum).
