Job Description

TAKE YOUR CAREER IN A NEW DIRECTION

At Eurostar, we’re fuelling the future of rail travel – operating in five countries and sparking new opportunities for travellers. But our trains connect much more than just people and places. They’re helping us build a greener, more inclusive future for everyone. Join us and you’ll be part of a passionate team which always goes the extra mile.

An exciting opportunity awaits you as Head of Rolling Stock Systems in our Technology & Process Optimisation team. The Head of Rolling Stock Systems is a pivotal leadership role responsible for overseeing, managing, and improving Depot systems and Onboard tools. This individual will own systems roadmap, ensuring its successful execution to deliver an outstanding staff experience. Additionally, the role is accountable for the seamless integration and utilisation of data across depot systems, enabling informed decision-making through reliable, high-quality information.

This permanent position is based at our Temple Mills Depot in Leyton with hybrid working (expectation to be at Temple Mills at least 2 days per week and on occasion at our Kings Cross office).

The close date for this role is 12pm, Monday 23rd March. Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible; Eurostar reserves the right to contact candidates before close date and to close the role earlier if suitable candidates are identified.

We’re looking for someone to:

  • Lead the end‑to‑end strategy, delivery, and continuous improvement of Depot and Onboard systems.
  • Develop and manage a clear product roadmap aligned with organisational priorities and staff needs.
  • Support and manage a team of 5 (including contractors). This may increase in the future as more projects to come in RS.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and cross‑functional teams to ensure system integration, performance, and alignment.
  • Drive transformation by identifying process and technology improvements and leading effective change management.
  • Oversee the integration, quality, and accessibility of data across all depot systems, enabling data‑driven decision making.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and use insights to optimise system effectiveness and operational outcomes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders and communicate progress, challenges, and achievements clearly.
  • Lead, develop, and support a team of around five employees (plus contractors), fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

You’ll need…

  • Master’s degree in engineering, information systems, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in product ownership or product management, ideally within rolling stock, transportation, or industrial systems.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Strong strategic thinking, product management expertise, and change leadership skills.
  • Solid knowledge of data integration and analysis, continuous improvement, and cross‑functional collaboration.
  • Fluency in English AND French is essential for this role.

We’re constantly working to create a bright future for our company and our colleagues. That’s why we offer a wide range of brilliant benefits, including:

  • Travel benefits that can be used for both work and play including 75% off underground network from Day 1
  • Competitive defined benefit pension scheme
  • Free Eurostar tickets
  • Discounted Eurostar tickets for friends and family
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Lots of other exclusive deals, discounts and perks
