Job Description

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) Engineering to join our Global Security Office. You will report to the Director of IGA and will lead the IGA engineering team to deliver enterprise identity management services. You will also ensure secure and scalable identity management solutions, and align engineering deliverables with our goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of identity management engineers, promoting technical best practices, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear team member goals, driving performance management and career development for engineers.
  • Coach team members to grow their technical and soft skills.
  • Partner with IAM architects to define technical roadmaps, engineering standards and integration design patterns.
  • Enforce best practices in software engineering, including code reviews, CI/CD pipeline management, and secure coding standards.
  • Oversee development and deployment of new application integrations with the IGA platform.
  • Ensure delivery of feature enhancements, identity workflows, connectors, APIs, and user experience improvements
  • Promote the integration of automation and AI to improve IGA processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancementand implement solutions to reduce manual effort and mitigate risks.
  • Help use DevOps and Agile methodologies within the IGA engineering team.
  • Ensure IGA solutions align with enterprise security policies, regulatory requirements, and audit frameworks.
  • Promote process improvements that enhance automation, reduce manual effort, and strengthen identity lifecycle controls.
  • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, cloud engineering, application owners, and compliance teams to create compliant identity solutions.
  • Support onboarding of new business applications by collaborating with partners to understand access models and integration requirements.
  • Be an escalation point for engineering challenges and production issues.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience managing software engineering teams, with experience delivering complex security products.
  • 7+ years of experience in identity management engineering or software development.
  • Deep technical understanding of Identity Governance principles and hands-on experience with major IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint IdentityIQ, SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, or Saviynt Enterprise Identity Cloud).
  • Strong understanding of IGA concepts including identity lifecycle management, role/attribute-based access control, certifications, connectors, and provisioning APIs.
  • Familiarity with SSO/MFA technologies and IAM standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC, SCIM).
  • Experience designing and implementing IGA solutions
