About FAIRTIQ
We were founded in 2016, developing a mobile ticketing system for public transport. Our app lets users check in and out for their journeys, so they don’t need to buy traditional tickets. It automatically calculates and charges the lowest possible fare for any trip—whether single, multi-leg, or involving multiple operators—and applies the cheapest day ticket price when available. We use AI-based algorithms to track journeys accurately. The FAIRTIQ app is available on Apple iOS and Android and can be quickly implemented since it doesn’t require on-vehicle or on-station equipment.
We partner with 86 public transport companies in 6 countries. Our system has processed over 140 million journeys, with more than 100,000 users traveling daily and over 2.7 billion kilometers traveled in total. We keep the system running with 99.99% uptime. For travelers, the app is simple to use, offering real-time tickets and automatically finding the lowest price without needing to specify destinations.
