Job Description
Step into a high‑impact strategic role where your investment expertise will shape portfolio outcomes and influence key asset allocation decisions across a diverse client base.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in formulating investment strategy, contributing to portfolio construction, and representing high‑conviction views as part of a respected Investment Committee. This is a role where your expertise is valued, your voice is heard, and your professional growth is backed by an ambitious and collaborative environment.
This role operates on a hybrid model, with three days per week in the office (potentially four during the initial onboarding period to support your transition and settling in).
Your key responsibilities as a Senior Portfolio Manager will include:
- Developing and presenting macroeconomic insights, asset allocation views, and investment strategy recommendations in collaboration with senior leaders.
- Contributing as a voting member of the Investment Committee, helping shape equity strategy, sector structuring, and high‑conviction portfolio positioning.
- Designing, constructing, and optimising client portfolios to align with agreed investment strategies and risk parameters.
- Managing a select group of key client relationships, delivering insights, portfolio updates, and presentations at client events and larger forums.
- Building and maintaining quantitative models and tools that support strategic and dynamic asset allocation decisions.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external fund managers to ensure alignment with portfolio objectives and client outcomes.
You will need the following experience and skills to join us as a Senior Portfolio Manager:
- You will bring at least 10–15 years of experience in asset allocation, investment research, portfolio management, or funds management.
- You will bring strong technical investment expertise, with the ability to develop, articulate, and implement strategies across major asset classes, alongside a natural affinity for equities.
- You will be confident presenting to sophisticated investors and larger audiences, communicating complex concepts with clarity.
- You will have advanced analytical and portfolio construction skills, supported by experience using relevant tools and data platforms.
- You will hold a finance‑related degree, and you may also have postgraduate qualifications such as the CFA, which are highly regarded.
