Ripjar was founded in 2013 by former GCHQ intelligence professionals. We develop software that helps organizations manage risks from complex data. We use AI to process structured and unstructured data, providing insights to detect risks and threats.

We offer a range of risk management solutions for financial crime, third-party risks, and cybersecurity. These include Ripjar One for AML risk management, which provides dynamic risk profiling and integrated screening and monitoring. Ripjar Trust Screen uses AI to detect threats and secure online platforms. Ripjar P360 helps manage third-party risks, protecting against regulatory, ethical, and reputational issues. Ripjar Cyber Investigator offers AI-driven tools for cyber threat detection and investigation. For government agencies, Labyrinth Intelligence is a platform for monitoring, investigating, and building national-level threat intelligence. Our AML Name Screening & Monitoring solution combats financial crime through customer screening, reducing false positives and supporting screening in over 400 languages.

We apply our technology across various domains, including financial crime, KYC, AML, counter-terrorism, and cyber security, using techniques like data fusion, automated analytics, natural language processing, machine learning, and AI. We serve global financial institutions, technology companies, and government agencies.

We operate with a remote-first approach, offering fully remote roles primarily within the UK. Our work environment is collaborative and high-trust, offering structured career growth and autonomy. Our engineers work in multidisciplinary teams led by Engineering Managers who focus on product delivery, mentoring, and fostering clarity and trust. We aim for continuous improvement in operational practices, promoting a DevOps culture and end-to-end ownership. We collaborate across functions—including Product, Engineering, Security, Data, Delivery, UX, and Operations—to align our infrastructure with product needs and compliance standards.

We offer a competitive base salary. Employees receive 25 days of annual leave, plus their birthday off and a Christmas shutdown. This increases to 30 days after five years.
