Fi is a technology company founded in 2017. We make GPS and health tracking products for dogs.

Our main products, the Fi Smart Dog Collar (Series 3 Plus) and Fi Mini, track a dog’s location in real-time and monitor their health using AI. They track activity, rest, eating, drinking, licking, scratching, and barking patterns. This technology helps us understand a dog’s well-being and location.

Since launching, we’ve helped reunite over 20,000 lost dogs with their owners. Our technology includes backend systems, data aggregation, machine learning, and mobile apps.

Our mission is to help dogs live happier, healthier lives. We do this by developing technology that translates what dogs communicate, giving owners peace of mind about their dog’s safety and health. We also aim to improve the lives of dogs across the U.S. and bridge the communication gap between dogs and humans.

Fi has 51-200 employees. Its founders previously worked at companies like Square, Google, Peloton, and Uber. The work environment is fast-paced, typical of a growing Series B startup and a hybrid-design studio. The team takes a “pursuit of the impossible” approach to problem-solving.

The workplace culture is dog-friendly, with over 100 employee dogs. Collaboration is emphasized among designers, copywriters, and marketing leads, fostering a community of dog lovers. Fi partners with over 100 shelters across the U.S., supporting them through employee initiatives and company donations to help dogs find homes.
