We were founded in 2018 as a biotechnology research company, dedicated to speeding up progress in human health and scientific research. We develop single cell sequencing technology, mainly through our Evercode™ platform. This platform uses combinatorial barcoding that doesn’t require specialized instruments, letting researchers use standard lab equipment like a pipette. This method helps us improve data quality by preventing contamination from ambient RNA. It also allows cells and nuclei to be fixed and stored, making experimental timelines more flexible.

We offer several products in our Evercode™ portfolio:

• Evercode™ Whole Transcriptome: Kits for scalable single cell sequencing, including reagents and analysis software.
• Evercode™ Immune Profiling: Kits for immunological research, specifically Evercode TCR and Evercode BCR, which are fixation-based scRNA-Seq immune profiling assays.
• Evercode™ FFPE: An upcoming product for analyzing formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded samples without predefined probe panels.

We provide an end-to-end solution, from preparing single cell or single-nuclei suspensions to library preparation, sequencing, and data analysis using our Trailmaker software. More than 3,000 laboratories use Evercode technology in their research, from cancer treatment and tissue repair to understanding the immune system and neurological diseases.

We have between 51 and 200 employees and cultivate a collaborative culture focused on our mission. We look for motivated individuals who are passionate about their work. Co-founders Alex Rosenberg, PhD (CEO), and Charlie Roco, PhD (CTO), co-invented our core single cell technology.

Our work environment is collaborative and agile. We prioritize design based on user needs and rapid development. Some roles are fully remote, offering a startup-style setting where employees can help shape technology, processes, and culture. Our Seattle headquarters offers amenities like locker rooms, secure bike storage, a field house with free fitness classes, a coffee shop, bakery, and a restaurant/pub. Many positions support remote work, with some being entirely home-office based and others involving occasional travel.

We offer a full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage. We cover 90% of employee monthly premiums and 60% for dependents, with coverage starting the first day of the month after your start date. Employees can join our 401(k) program with a company match right away. We also cover 100% of premiums for basic life insurance, short-term, and long-term disability.

We have Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options for medical, dependent care, and commuter expenses. Seattle-based employees can access a transportation program. We provide 12 paid holidays annually, a winter holiday break, and a flexible paid time off policy that includes discretionary time off.

For eligible remote and field-based roles, benefits can include a monthly car allowance, internet and cell phone stipends, and covered travel expenses (flights, hotel, rental car). We provide a laptop and other necessary technical/home office equipment for remote positions.
