The primary responsibilities for our next Sales Development Manager will be to:
- Make a significant contribution to the digital transformation of the construction industry and Hilti’s evolution as a leading software provider in the industry
- Responsible for the strategic and operational management of your customer base: planning customer acquisition measures, arranging customer appointments, advancing strategic initiatives, creating sales offers, negotiating contracts and expanding accounts
- Presentation and sale of state-of-the-art software and services digitally and on the phone (if necessary, also on site at customers)
- Create, maintain and close deals through outbound qualification
- Implementation of meaningful software demonstrations in front of potential new and existing customers
- Effectively collaborate with Marketing to build a quality opportunity pipeline
- Achievement of monthly and annual sales targets
We’re looking for our next Sales Development Manager to have the following skills and experiences:
- Bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training
- 1 to 3 years of experience in a sales role and/or in a project management role within the construction industry
- Very good knowledge of Italian and English
- Excellent diagnostic, communication, consulting, and presentation skills
- Enjoys advising customers digitally and by phone (and in person if necessary)
- Proven track record of meeting targets
- Self-initiative and strong motivation to achieve success
- Ability to use feedback in a positive and constructive way
- Confident demeanor, empathy, and effective communication skills to build mutual understanding with potential customers at various levels
- Willingness to travel

Where is the job located?
This role is Hybrid and based in our office in Milan, Italy.
