The Accounts Payable Team Lead (m/f/d) will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This role requires excellent organizational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
About the Role
Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor communications.
Ensure timely and accurate payment of all invoices in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Oversee the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions, expense reimbursement process and reconciliation of related accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Lead, mentor, and develop the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support as needed.
Prepare and present regular reports on accounts payable activities and performance to senior management.
Maintain strong relationships with vendors and negotiate favorable payment terms.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and internal controls.
Support the implementation of process improvements and automation initiatives.
About You
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent required.
Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting/finance and at least 3 years of people management experience.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and best practices.
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong Analytical skills, attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
