We are Florence, founded in 2016, and we operate in the healthcare sector, with 51-200 employees. We provide workforce management software for health and care organizations, and we connect health and care professionals with flexible work opportunities.

For organizations, we offer a suite of tools:

• Bank Manager: Fills rota gaps with your own staff before using an agency.
• Scheduling: An all-in-one platform for managing staff, building rosters, handling leave, and tracking time.
• HR: A complete HR platform for the health and social care workforce.
• Agency Management: Simplifies managing multiple agencies and cuts staffing costs.
• Temporary Staffing: Book vetted health and care professionals directly.
• Florence Academy: Our online training platform offers accredited health and care courses for staff compliance and development.

For staffing agencies, we provide the Agency Manager tool to connect with our health and care clients, and early access to new staffing management tools.

Nurses, care assistants, and support workers can use our mobile app to find local shifts, apply, and manage their schedules. We operate in the UK, France (launched November 2022), and Canada (launched February 2023). We are regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the Regulation of Quality Improvement Authority (RQIA), and the Care Inspectorate. Our services are used by organizations like the NHS and Healthtrust Europe.

Our mission is to make healthcare staffing simpler, fairer, and hassle-free for everyone. We aim to transform how contingent workforces are managed across the health and care industries.

Our team has 51 to 200 employees. Dr. Charles Armitage, our CEO, co-founded Florence with Dan Blake, our CCO. Our other leadership team members include Ross Burton (UK MD for NHS), Karen Ko (Chief Financial Officer), Lauren Rofe (Chief Operations Officer), and Tom Wilshere (Chief Technology Officer).
