We started as a small store in Maidenhead in 1982 and have grown into a global retail company. Our brands include Sports Direct, Flannels, GAME, Jack Wills, Sofa.com, Evans Cycles, USC, and Everlast. We’re transforming traditional retail by making our business sustainable and improving how customers access products.

We run a large in-house ecommerce platform with over 50 websites. Our digital tech teams focus on agile delivery, building strong backend data applications, cybersecurity, and modern architecture. We use Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O WMS for warehousing and fulfillment, powered by Azure, Power Platform, and other cloud tools.

Our cybersecurity efforts involve identifying threats, analysis, incident response, and using SIEM/EDR tools. For infrastructure, we use Microsoft Azure for scalable cloud solutions, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.

We believe higher risks can lead to greater rewards, driving us to innovate. This means diversifying our brand portfolio and upgrading our stores.

Our IT teams are agile and delivery-focused, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. We encourage employees to stay updated on technologies and industry trends, using new ideas to improve our platform.

Many of us work in a hybrid pattern, typically spending three days a week onsite (often at our Shirebrook HQ) and two days from home.
